Rydal

Rydal is an unincorporated mainly residential community in Abington Township. The Abington campus of Pennsylvania State University is located in Rydal. Parks in the Rydal vicinity offer trails, ball fields and courts, playgrounds, picnic areas and plenty of scenic green.

This charming, tight-knit community is filled with dozens of historic properties that date back to the 1800s. Originally the town consisted of little more than a train depot, however, residents fell in love with the area and called it home.
